Dr. Kennebeck received her Medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 1996, and then completed an internship and residency in Pediatrics at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where she served as a Chief Resident. Dr. Kennebeck then completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Kennebeck is currently the Director of Informatics for the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Division in the Department of Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in Ohio. Her research has focused on the delivery of emergency care in a patient centered manner, and the implementation of Electronic Health Records in the emergency setting.
Dr. Kennebeck has served as a reviewer for Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Care. Dr. Kennebeck is a member of the Executive Steering Committee for Pediatric Emergency Physicians for Epic Systems in Madison, Wisconsin. She was on the guideline development panel for several conditions at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Kennebeck is a Fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics, and is certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
