Christopher Strother, MD

Christopher Strother, MD is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics and Medical Education at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Strother directs the Emergency Department Simulation Teaching and Research Center, and is the Director of Undergraduate Simulation for the Icahn School of Medicine. He was recently elected President of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine’s Simulation Academy. He has also held leadership positions in the Society for Simulation in Healthcare and the American Academy of Pediatrics. A graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine, he completed a pediatric residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and a pediatric emergency fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. His academic interests focus on education, debriefing, and medical simulation.
