Education Consultant & New Business Development Associate

We’re seeking a Physician or Advanced Practice Clinician who is looking for a part-time non-clinical role in addition to part-time clinical hours. This role will help increase new group subscriptions for our educational and CME resources. You will be responsible for speaking with, presenting to, following up with, and closing new business with decision makers (Chief Medical Officer, Medical Director, Chair/Chief) of urgent care clinics and emergency departments. Role Summary:
  • Identify potential group customers and decision makers
  • Identify pain points related to education for each decision maker
  • Determine which educational resources will solve those pain points & help improve patient care
  • Build a pipeline of new business opportunities 
  • Conduct phone, email, and other follow up on group leads 
  • Prepare proposals and presentations for prospective accounts
  • Close new sales
  • Meet (or exceed) sale goals for new groups
  • Attend conferences and tradeshows to generate new leads (approximately 2-4 times per year)
  • Document all related activities in the company’s CRM
 
Requirements:
  • 1-2+ years of experience as a Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner practicing in emergency medicine or urgent care 
  • Experience in or an aptitude for sales 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
 
Position Details: 
  • We provide robust training and support, and all the equipment and resources you’ll need to be successful
  • Flexible schedule: ~15 hours per week
  • Compensation: $48k/year (includes $30k base + $18k commission; commission is contingent on achieving sales goals; exceeding sales goals will increase the commission, so there is high earnings potential)
