An Evidence-Based Approach To The Evaluation and Treatment of Drowning and Submersion Injuries (Trauma CME)

June 2011

Abstract

This issue of Pediatric Emergency Medicine Practice will review the epidemiology and pathophysiology of drowning, discuss the evidence behind management recommendations, review factors associated with prognosis (and their exceptions), and discuss preventative measures.
