Print Subscription Semester Program:
Paid subscribers who read all CME articles during each six-month testing period, complete the post-test and the CME Evaluation Form distributed with the June and December issues, and return it according to the published instructions are eligible for up to 4 hours of CME per each issue. You must complete both the post test and CME Evaluation Form to receive credit. Results will be kept confidential. CME certificates will be delivered via email, unless specified by the subscriber, to each participant scoring higher than 70%. For the Online Single-Issue Program: Yes.
For the Print Subscription Semester Program: you can skip entire months, but you will only receive CME credit for the months you have completed.
+What is a passing score and what happens if I don’t pass?
A passing score for online tests is 100% and print CME tests is 70%.
For the Online Single-Issue Program: you will be prompted with a hint in order to correct your answer. You must answer all questions correctly in order to pass.
For the Print Subscription Semester Program: you may re-read the issue and take the test again.
+How long does it take before I receive my CME certificate?
CME certificates can be printed instantly upon completion if you complete the test online. If you are submitting a print CME answer form, you should receive your certificate within three weeks. In order to reduce our impact on the environment and to deliver your certificates to you more quickly, we are now emailing all CME certificates. If you do not provide an email address, a paper copy will be mailed.

+How long are your activities available for CME credit?
All activities have different expiration dates, but most are eligible for CME credit. You'll find this information listed on the last page of all Emergency Medicine Practice, Pediatric Emergency Medicine Practice, Hospital Medicine Practice, EM Practice Guidelines Update, and EM Critical Care issues, under “Physician CME Information: Date of Original Release.” The accreditation period for all books and special reports can be found on the inside cover under “CME Accreditation Information.”

Print Subscription Semester Program: if you mail/fax your answer forms to us, they are added to your personal online account and can be viewed by logging in, clicking “My Profile & CME Records” at the top right of the page, and clicking “My CME Records” or by clicking on "Access My Content" and then "My CME Records".
Online Single-Issue Program: if you take your test online, they are automatically stored in your CME Tracker. You can view them by logging in, clicking “My Profile & CME Records” at the top right of the page, and clicking “My CME Records” on the right side of the page or by clicking "Access My Content" and then "My CME Records." In addition, you can choose to display only the issues you have not taken CME tests for by clicking "Take CME Tests"; on the left side of the page and clicking the "Hide CME Tests Already Completed" box
