<< An Evidence-Based Approach To Traumatic Pain Management In The Emergency Department (Trauma CME)

Correction

The May 2012 issue of Emergency Medicine Practice, entitled “Monoarticular Arthritis Update: Current Evidence For Diagnosis And Treatment In The Emergency Department,” contains a possibly fatal dosage error. On page 11, in the section “Management Of Pseudogout,” the optional loading dose for colchicine is erroneously stated as 1 gram. The correct optional loading dose for colchicine is 1 milligram. The online version of this issue has been corrected. We sincerely regret the error.
